Things are settling down.

The puppies from Maggie and Bean's litters have been placed in wonderful homes and I couldn't be happier.
There will be a litter of cousins arriving mid-December to Kathy Kocher-Gladen of Gaffle Bullmastiffs. To be placed on the waiting list please contact Kathy by clicking the link above.

Ms. Maggie is Having Puppies!

After taking her time coming into heat, she finally did in July and she has been bred to the lovely Champion Gaffle’s Fezzik CGC CHIC.  Fezz is a laid back guy that a few years ago took the Southwest Bullmastiff Regional Specialty by storm….. going down there as a new class dog never having been in the show ring, and coming home a champion!  Fezz then returned to life as the house dog that he was.  He is everything that Ms Maggie needs….. we are looking forward to strong toplines, short backs, good bites and rock solid temperments.  Fezz is a maternal half-brother to our Ms. Bean… and carries such greats in his past as BISS CH Banstock Bruno of the Northeast GROM OFA, and BISS GCH CAN/INT CH Newcastle's Picturesque Picasso TDI.  With Maggie’s outgoing, vivacious personality and Fezz’s easygoing, up for anything personality…. I can’t wait to see what we are going to get!

Ms. Maggie and Alexis Smith headed to the Central Point Show in Central Oregon and picked up a Group 4 on November 3rd under Judge Ms. Carolyn l Alexander.  Thank you Ms. Alexander for this exciting win!
Maggie is now a multiple group placing bitch before age 2!  I want to thank Alexis Smith, her co-owner and handler, for all of her hard work with Maggie.  Next week they are off to California to see what the sunny state has in store for them!

SO exciting things around here!

In September, Maggie took her first Group Placement in a competitive working group under Judge Robert Shreveand the Eugene Kennel Club show! It was made even more exciting knowing that Maggie was just 20 months old at the time of her win.  We expect great things from this girl and her owner/handler Alexis
Smith!  Maggie is also currently ranked in the top 25 of her breed (in breed points) at the end of September!  What a way to start and end the month of September!

Now in October, we sent little Bean on her first away from home trip... and  she came home a winner!  Bean won a major by taking winners bitch, Best Puppy and Best Opposite Sex under Judge Larry Sinclair!  What a win for a 9 month old puppy!  Bean now has one major and a single towards her championship!  Way to go Bean!

And next week we will be at the American Bullmastiff National.... it will be a fun and exciting week for us all. Its a good time to visit with new and old friends... and to enjoy the company of lovely bullmastiffs!
