Welcome to the home of Icon Bullmastiffs!  

We are located south of Portland Oregon in the beautiful area of Canby.  I have been involved with bullmastiffs since 1994 when I acquired my first one while I was in veterinary school.  My first bullmastiff was definitely not a show dog, but she was a perfect pet and addition to my home.  I fell in love with the breeds’ noble presence, their love of their family, and their natural subtle protective presence.  I also watched as my strong looking girl would melt with children and loved getting belly rubs!  I was hooked on this breed.  Fast forward many years, and after 3 pet bullies, I got the show dog bug and started looking for my first show dog and it’s been a love affair with the dog show world since then! 

All of our dogs are first and foremost, house dogs and our pets.  They are very much a large part of our family’s lives going to work with my husband and/or I almost every day!  They are taught good manners around children as each dog raised here is raised around my daughter. She has been an integral part of the puppy raising since she was 2!  While our dogs enjoy lounging around the house, or going to work with us, they also enjoy showing in AKC conformation events.  We are hoping to add obedience to the group soon!
